Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World Brings Great Memories

Fort Wilderness is the campground at Walt Disney World and full of memories from my childhood.  You can get to Fort Wilderness via a bus or a boat or you can drive there.  You can rent a campsite for your tent or motorhome or rent a cabin that sleeps 6.  There is so much to do in Fort Wilderness from horseback riding to laying on the beach to playing archery.  We enjoy having dinner there.  Two great places are Trails End and Pioneer Hall that hosts Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.  Trails End is a buffet with salads, chicken, beef, ribs, macaroni and cheese, pizza and a great variety of desserts.  There is also bar service available.

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a very fun show of Wild West singing and dancing with a family feast of chicken and ribs and salad and more!  There are three different seating options and reservations are strongly encouraged.  Remember that reservations are accepted 180 day prior.  This is a show you will remember forever!
At the holidays, several people decorate their campsites with lights and music and Disney characters.  Enjoy our video and pictures and be sure to visit next time you are here at the holidays!
